Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival

Posted on October 15, 2009

On behalf of the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival Committee, we welcome you to join our celebration of the natural heritage of our area.

Every year approximately 1,000 eagles show up in the Harrison River area alone to feed on the abundant salmon carcasses scattered along the shores of the river. The presence of the eagles is a confirmation that the environmental balance remains intact. We all have a part to play to ensure this balance remains in future generations.

Make sure to read the articles throughout the Eagle Flyer to further help you get the most out of your experience. Please join us on November 21st & 22nd 2009, and explore the variety of sites with exhibits, food, live eagles and entertainment. There is something for everyone, many sites are free of charge and designed with families in mind. See you along the way.
