COTTAGE DESCRIPTION
This cottage has all the luxuries! Complete with a gourmet kitchen featuring a gas range/stove, and a convection toaster oven for making pizzas or morning bagels. There is a conical coffee grinder and several french presses for making flavourful coffee. In the pantry you’ll also find a deep fryer for making homemade fries, and a pasta maker for making homemade pasta (if that’s your thing!).

The main floor great room features a gas fireplace and an audiophile grade stereo, Blue-ray player, mounted TV, Apple TV, Netflix, and an imported Rega RP1 turntable and vinyl records. The internet in the cottage is 100 mbps, fast enough for streaming HD movies or checking in with work. The main floor master bedroom features a comfortable queen sized bed with a down duvet cover. It has access to the main floor bathroom via a sliding barn door. Upstairs you’ll find a second bedroom, complete with a double bed. There’s also a loft upstairs with a pull out sofa bed, and a second TV and full media centre (great for kids!).

Out the large, bright french doors off the dining room is the back patio and a view of the mountains and greenery. There’s seating for five on the patio (or more with the available camping chairs), complete with infrared heating to keep you warm if it cools down at night. Just a few steps away from the patio is the outdoor propane firepit with seating for four to six – perfect to lounge around at night and sip some wine. There are two BBQs on the back patio – a Weber charcoal BBQ, and a Weber propane BBQ.

BOOKING POLICY/TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Please read our policies before booking to make sure our rental is a good fit for your vacation needs.

Renters and Guests:
– All guests must abide by strata rules – email for details
– Minimum age for the ‘responsible renter’ is 25
– All renters are required to complete a rental agreement form and return to the cottage owner
– Occupancy of the property cannot happen without a signed and completed rental agreement form.
– Guests must be at least 21 years of age, unless children accompanied by parents
– We must be notified in advance of any increase in the size of your party so that details can be added to the rental agreement.
– There is parking for two vehicles maximum (in a tandem / front-back configuration)
– Any additional guests or vehicles may result in extra charges, a termination of the rental term, and / or forfeit of the damage deposit

Payment information:
– Prices will be quoted in Canadian (CAD) dollars
– Prices and booking cannot be confirmed until deposit is received
– If the deposit is not received within 48 hours of the confirmed booking the booking will be considered canceled

Deposit:
– 50% of the amount at time of booking (payable by credit card, Interact eTransfer in Canada, or PayPal)
– Deposit is non-refundable
– Full payment is required if reservation is within 30 days of arrival

Balance:
– 30 days prior to arrival (payable by credit card or PayPal)
– If full balance is not paid within 48 hours of due date, booking will be cancelled and the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited

Security deposit:
– $500 refundable security deposit is due at time of booking (payable by credit card, Interact eTransfer in Canada, or PayPal)
– Security deposit is refundable once the cottage has been cleaned and inspected – we reserve the right to apply the security deposit to cover any losses, unnecessary housekeeping or damages sustained to the cottage or its contents during your stay.
– Any damages in excess of the security deposit will be invoiced as an additional charge

Cancellations:
– All cancellations requests must be submitted by e-mail
– If cancellation is 31 days or greater from the start of the visit, the security deposit will be returned in full but the non-refundable booking deposit will be forfeited.
– If cancellation is 30 days or less from the start date of the visit, the security deposit will be returned in full, but the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. If the cottage can be rebooked during the period in question, the balance, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be refunded, minus a $100 processing fee. If the cottage cannot be rebooked during this period, the balance and non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.
– No refunds will be given after the start of the rental period.

Lost keys:
– A key replacement fee (currently $50 CAD, but subject to change) will apply for any lost/stolen keys or security proximity cards

Policies:
– Check in time: 3:00 PM (may be flexible upon request)
– Check out time: 11:00 AM (may be flexible upon request)
– Sorry, no pets allowed
– No RV’s, mobile homes, or boats may be parked at the property
– Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
– Please bring extra linens for extended stays as there is no daily maid service, or expect to use the washer/dryer to wash your own periodically
– Renter will not be responsible for taking care of the landscaping, cutting the grass, etc. Consequently, there may be caretakers coming and going to undertake these tasks on behalf of the cottage owner during your stay.
– Smoking is only allowed outside on the deck – absolutely no smoking is allowed inside
– Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM as some people live full-time in the resort – guests may be asked to leave immediately if there are any noise complaints made by other residents.
– Renter agrees to clean cabin as per the provided list of reasonable tasks supplied (such as loading the dishwasher, removing the sheets prior to departure)
– Owner reserves the right to charge for any losses, unnecessary housekeeping or content damages sustained to the cottage during your stay.
– All guests and their invitees use the premise, structure, appliances and furnishings at their own risk. Property owner shall not be held liable or responsible in anyway for any injury that is caused by intentional or unintentional acts.
– No camping tents are allowed on the property or in communal areas within the resort’s gated community
