COTTAGE DESCRIPTION
The Sunflower Cottage offers a peaceful getaway for the busy urban family that needs to be refreshed and re-energized. The cottage is nestled between the picturesque mountains in the prestigious development called “The Cottages at Cultus Lake.”
The Sunflower Cottage is a 2 bedroom spacious rancher that is decorated with an urban upscale flair and has all the comforts of home. The cottage has 2 large decks, full kitchen (SXS fridge with water and ice, gas stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher, front load washer & dryer), vaulted ceiling, full bath, gas fireplace, Weber BBQ, marble wood burning fire pit on deck, picnic table, outdoor furniture, air conditioning, TV/DVD/VCR (bedroom and livingroom), 2 bedrooms, sleeps 7 (queen size bed, single over double bunkbed, plus double bed). (No smoking and No pets).
The Sunflower Cottage is in a prime location. The Treehouse (10,000 sq. ft. amenities building with adult lap pool, kids spray/splash pool, 2 hot tubs, movie theatre, lounge area, games room, and exercise room) is only steps away from our front door. In addition, the cottage is in close proximity to the tennis courts, a basketball court, a trout pond, fire pits, horseshoe pit, picnic tables, and children’s playgrounds. The property borders the Aquadel Golf Course and is also close to the hiking trails and numerous other activities. You will truly feel refreshed after spending time at this getaway!

RATES

* Please note ~ Unless your booking is confirmed with a deposit, rates are subject to change.
Payment Information:
– Prices in Canadian Dollars.
– Prices and bookings cannot be confirmed until deposit is received.
Deposit:
– Min. 25% of the full rental amount is required to secure booking (online e-transfer preferred).
– Deposit is non-refundable.
– Balance of payment is required 2 weeks prior to check in (payment by online e-transfer recommended).
Security Damage Deposit:
– Refundable security deposit due at time of booking (payable by cash, cheque, travelers cheque, or money order).
– Security deposit is refundable once the cottage has been cleaned and inspected. We reserve the right to use the security deposit for any losses, unnecessary housekeeping or damages sustained to the cottage during your stay.
– Any damages in excess of the security deposit will be invoiced as an additional charge.
– Replacement fee will be charged for any lost or stolen security scan cards (Strata rates).
Cancellations:
– All cancellations must be submitted by e-mail.
– No refunds once rental period has begun.
– If you cancel more than 60 days prior to arrival, you will lose your 25% non-refundable deposit.
– If you cancel between 15-60 days prior to arrival, you will be charged 50% of the full rental amount.
– If you cancel within 14 days prior to arrival, you will be charged the full rental amount.
- Security/Damage deposits will be returned

BOOKING POLICY/TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read our policies before booking to make sure our rental will suit your vacation needs.
Renters and Guests
– All renters must abide by Strata rules: call/email for more details.

Minimum age for responsible renter is 25.
- No Smoking and No Pets Allowed at the Sunflower Cottage.
– All renters are required to complete a strata K Form and rental agreement form, and return it to the Cottage Owner.
– There is parking for a maximum of two vehicles at the cottage.
– No overnight guests allowed.
– Any additional guests or vehicles may result in extra charges, a termination of the rental term, and/or forfeit of the damage deposit.
– No RV’s, motor homes, or tents are allowed.
– Pool/beach towels are not provided, so please bring extra towels. (Please do not take cottage towels to the pool or beach).
– The cottage owners are responsible for taking care of the landscaping, cutting the grass, etc., so please note there may be caretakers coming and going to complete these tasks during your stay.
- No shoes inside cottage (slippers are permitted).
- Quiet Times 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Violation of this may result in eviction.
– We reserve the right to charge the Renters for any losses, fines obtained, unnecessary housekeeping or damages sustained to the cottage or surrounding property during their stay at The Sunflower Cottage.
– All Renters and their invitees use the premise, structure, appliances and furnishings at their own risk. Property Owners shall not be held liable or responsible in anyway for any injury that is caused by intentional or unintentional acts.
– It is a strata by-law that a renter may not bring additional guests (apart from their own rental party) to the treehouse/pool area. A violation of this act may result in a fine for the renter.
